A meeting with partners from Italy was held at the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov discussed with Giancarlo Zanni, consultant at the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Agriculture of Milano - Promos Milano, Enrico Malagoli, Commercial Director of the company Collegium, Zahari Nikolov, General Manager of www.opportunitabulgaria.net and Tsvetelina Galabova, General Manager of Ulogistics the opportunity to establish a Bulgarian – Italian Association for support of the bilateral economic and commercial relations. The guests shared their idea for a new instrument for fostering the bilateral trade. This tool will combine provision of detailed information regarding how to do business and organizing b2b meetings on line and in person.
Simeonov stated that the meeting is very timely with the fading of the Covid-19 restrictions and the need for enhancing the European cooperation in regard to the uncertainty due to the war in Ukraine and the economic sanctions to Russia. The Italian partners were very much interested in Bulgarian start-up and innovative companies.
The following areas for cooperation Bulgaria – Italy were discussed: food industry, tourism, transport and logistics, European programmes and projects.
