Tsvetan Simeonov opened the 2nd International Specialized Exhibition BIO & ECO Expo

The President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tsvetan Simeonov opened the exhibition BIO&ECO EXPO 2011.
H. Exc. Ms. Judith Lang, Ambassador of Hungary, H. Exc. Ms. Sheila Camerer, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Africa, commercial attaches from the Embassies of China and Greece were among the official guests.
The Director of the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency, Dr. Yordan Voynov welcomed the participants and the guests on behalf of the Minister of Agriculture and Food, Dr. Miroslav Naydenov, which is the patron of the exhibition for the second time.
As an organizer of the event, the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is committed to the topic which has gained much popularity. This year, together with the Bulgarian participants, foreign exhibitors are presented as well. The displayed products are manufactured in various parts of the world – from Africa to Siberia, and cover a wide range of foods and cosmetics, protective equipment and biodegradable packages, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov said.
62 companies - manufacturers and distributors of certified bio, eco and natural products participate in the exhibition presenting raw materials of plant and animal origin, foods and beverages, herbs, spices and nutritional supplements, bio and natural cosmetics, eco clothes, furniture, souvenirs, 3D puzzles, solar constructions, “green” office supplies, bio farms, eco technologies, but practically they are twice as much.
The accompanying programme includes seminars and presentations on topical themes. Individual presentations of MADARA Cosmetics and BIOWORLD are envisaged. Mr. André Luis Saraiva, Executive Director of PRAC, which is one of the two major employers’ organizations in Brazil will present the special Programme for Shared Environmental Responsibility of Brazil. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food participates with an information stand to present the Rural Development Programme.
