MeMeVET project The main objective of the MeMeVET project is to deliver a VET CV in the mechatronics and metallurgical sectors: the CV will include technical subjects and all the relevant soft and transversal skills. It will enable the training of skilled workers and enhance the recognition of the VET CV at EU level in order to create synergies between education, training and labour market. The mechatronics and metallurgy sectors are of the utmost importance for the European market. They account for almost 20% of the workforce. Nevertheless, experience and sectoral analysis show that they face difficulties in the free movement of students, students and workers. Some of the problems are related to the integration of young people in companies and the need for them to have undergone a specialized course on risk and fire safety at work before starting their internships. These specialized courses and certificates required in each Member State differ from each other. This requires a harmonization in the future, in order to promote mobility and improve the process of integration in the sectors. Education and training in both sectors must respond to the integration of young people into the labour market in order to enable them to contribute to growth and jobs and hence to the core objectives of the Europe 2020 strategy. Based on these issues, the project aims to provide a CV for the mechatronics and metallurgy sectors. The CV will be acquired through additional training modules specifically designed to acquire personally-identifiable skills. In this connection an e-card for EU CV will be created, where all new, acquired soft skills can be added and recorded. The map will help young people to get the certificates needed in the target countries more easily and thus to enter the labour market more quickly. It is planned to hold internships in the five countries so that the map and the curriculum vitae can be tested in practice. Through the project the BCCI will work actively with the companies from Bulgaria specialized in mechatronics and metallurgy as well as with branch organizations and clusters. The main components in the implementation of the project are: identifying skills and needs in the sectors as the starting point of the project; quality control and monitoring, building a communication strategy and strategy for disseminating project information; design of training modules for graduates and students from vocational schools, together with the design of a professional European format of curriculum vitae; Develop an electronic map of all personal skills, with the goal of improving mobility and creating a network for students and academic staff. The partners of the project are several organizations with heterogeneous profiles in order to guarantee the creation of a bridge between education and the labour market. Countries involved:
