"The Interest of Turkey towards the Bulgarian Economy is Growing"

A meeting of the Bulgarian - Turkish Business Council will be held on 6-9 February 2002, in Istanbul. At the end of March, a delegation of over 100 Turkish businessmen will visit Bulgaria. This was agreed at a meeting between Turkish Ambassador Haydar Berk and BCCI President Bojidar Bojinov. Seminars on the peculiarities in the Bulgarian legislation will be organized for the Turkish entrepreneurs. A special attention will be paid to standardization and quality of goods. At the business forum, the companies will have the opportunity to meet by interests and negotiate individual agreements.

Ambassador Berk said that the Turkish businessmen were more and more interested in the Bulgarian market and the Bulgarian economy. The development of the business relations between the two countries will also benefit from the building of a good railway infrastructure, he added.
