On the 11th of August 2005 the National Centre for Vocational Training within the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCVT) signed a contract for cooperation with the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry Examinations Board (“LCCIEB”) NCVT’s application was accepted and the Centre with its 22 regional branches was approved to be the authorized and exclusive representative of LCCIEB for Bulgaria as a training institution and examination headquarters in the following vocations: Certifications on Business English language and Professional Qualifications such as Finance, General Business, Marketing , IT ,etc. LCCIEB Certifications and the ELSA evaluation test are acknowledged in 125 countries all over the world and are consistent with the European reference Framework.

During the last week of October 2005 there will be held the first two training sessions for Business English trainers for the teachers of NCVT in Sofia and Varna. The trainees will receive an authorization certificate from the London Chamber as well as they will obtain the opportunity to sit for an ELSA examination according to the approved LCCI Examination Board standards.
