A Unique Way to Become Global Business Leader - A Bulgaria/Japan Joint Project

New Semester Begins from October at Managerial Skills Development Center at Institute for Postgraduate Studies, University of National & World Economy (UNWE) -Sofia. This is a special national project jointly developed between Bulgaria and Japan under the initiation by Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The unique learning method will be offered for cultivating professionals working for small and medium sized enterprises to become managers and entrepreneurs suited in the global business arena. The project is also supported by the Ministry of Economy and Energy of Bulgaria, Embassy of Japan and Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University-Japan.

Starting Date: October 1 (Opening Ceremony), actual class starts on Oct 8.

Period: Saturdays/Sundays for 5 Months (Oct. 8, 2005 through March 5, 2006).

Several weeks are off between the classes including Christmas holidays.

Location: Institute for Postgraduate Studies at UNWE-Sofia.

Tuition: BGN 870.00

Lecturers: Highly qualified Bulgarian, Japanese lecturers and other international professionals.

Course Subjects:

The certificate is registered and recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science in Bulgaria. Further another certificate will by issued jointly by Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University and Japan International Cooperation Agency.

Admissions: The following documents should be submitted for admission:

  1. An application form
  2. A Diploma for completed education- original and a copy
  3. Three passport size photographs
  4. A receipt for tuition fee payment
  5. Level of English proficiency

The National Centre for Vocational Training within the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is authorized to perform the preliminary selection of the applicants and hold an exam assessing their level of English(exam fee is BGN 80).
