The business delegation accompanying Bulgarian President Plevneliev in Brazil and Argentina began business talks in the Brazilian capital

The Bulgarian business delegation accompanying the President of the Republic Rosen Plevneliev on his official visit to the Federative Republic of Brazil and the Republic of Argentina, which also includes the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov, began business talks in the Brazilian capital – the city of Brazil. During the first working day of the visit, the President of BCCI and Bulgarian entrepreneurs will visit the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency, Brazil Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and will have business talks with business representatives from the state of Minas Gerais. 
 
BCCI organized the participation in the delegation of 19 Bulgarian companies with interests in South America, especially in the areas of ITC, electronics, pharmacy, agriculture, agricultural machinery and equipment, dairy and food industry, natural gas technologies, industrial automation, lifting and hydraulic systems, extractive industry, etc. The full list of the business delegation is available HERE.
During the official visit of the Bulgarian Head of State, two Brazilian – Bulgarian Business Forums will be held (in the National Chamber of Industry in the city of Brazil on 2 February 2015 and in the Federation of Industries of the State of Sao Paulo (FIESP) on the following day). An Argentine – Bulgarian Business Forum will also take place in Buenos Aires on 4 February at the Chamber of Commerce of Argentina. 
 
BCCI is expected to sign the long-negotiated cooperation agreement with its partner organization in Argentina – the Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, for the signing of which an appropriate occasion was awaited. Plenty of bilateral meetings and business talks are on the agenda, as well as meetings with the Bulgarian communities in both countries, visits to local organizations and institutions. 
Brazilian and Argentine economies are leading in Latin America and main economies in MERCOSUR. The Brazilian economy is the seventh largest economy in the world, and is extremely diverse covering a variety of sectors, including automotive industry, steel industry, petrochemical industry, computing industry, aircrafts, household and industrial machinery and equipment, and a wide range of consumer goods. Argentina has well-developed industry and agriculture, and is among the top five countries exporting grains, flour, furs, meat and wool worldwide. The main Argentine industries are the textile industry, food industry (meat production, tobacco, sugar, and butter production), as well as machine building and oil extraction.
