Intensifying the activity of the Bulgarian – Lebanese Business Council is discussed
At the initiative of the Embassy of Lebanon in Sofia, a meeting was held between the Secretary General of BCCI Vasil Todorov and a group of business representatives.
The future development of the Bulgarian – Lebanese economic relations was in the focus of discussion. The untapped potential of the bilateral economic relations was discussed in the context of the Free Trade Agreement signed between the EU and Lebanon which is in force as of 1 March 2015.
In this regard, the possibility to restart and intensify the work of the Bulgarian – Lebanese Business Council at BCCI was discussed. On behalf of the Chamber, Vasil Todorov expressed support for the initiative. The preparations of a forthcoming meeting of the representatives of the Bulgarian – Lebanese Business Council will begin, and BCCI will duly inform the business circles in order for new members to join the Council.
