The newly-appointed Ambassador of Bulgaria to Bosnia and Herzegovina Avgustina Tsvetkova visited BCCI and met with the Chamber’s President Tsvetan Simeonov.

They identified a need for greater exchange of economic information between the two countries. The lack of convenient airplane flight connections between the capitals Sofia and Sarajevo at the moment further complicates the commercial relations.

During the meeting it became clear that preparations for the signing of Economic Cooperation Agreement between the two countries are underway. The Agreement provides for the establishment of a joint intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation. BCCI fully supports the initiative which will help increase the trade between Bulgaria and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
