The Ambassador of Kuwait and Tsvetan Simeonov discussed the future cooperation of the Embassy and the Chamber

H.E. Yaqoub Alateeqi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Kuwait in Bulgaria, had a meeting with the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov.

They discussed the future cooperation of the Embassy and the Chamber. During the meeting it became clear that there is untapped economic potential between Bulgaria and the State of Kuwait. In this regard, H.E. Yaqoub Alateeqi informed about an upcoming “Bulgarian Trade Fair” in Kuwait in November. According to data of the Embassy of Kuwait, currently there are 650 Bulgarian citizens working in Kuwait, around 60% of whom are engaged in the medical sector.

The possibility to organize an information event about opportunities to start a business in Kuwait was also discussed. BCCI will additionally inform about the exact date of the event.
