Many joint initiatives are forthcoming in order to improve cooperation between business, science and entrepreneurship

At the invitation of the Executive Director, the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov visited the "Sofia Tech Park," talked with Mr. Jolian Ivanov and was acquainted with the plans and upcoming projects of the company. They committed themselves to joint initiatives in order to improve cooperation between business, science and entrepreneurship.

Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov was impressed by the progress in the construction of "Sofia Tech Park" and stressed that that was a good achievement, stating for example that similar facilities in Taiwan had started at full strength after 15 years. During the meeting a commitment either way in its business to focus on solving problems in the everyday work of entrepreneurs established best business practices, especially the development and application of innovation. The achievements will be launched also under the Council for innovation and technological development at the BCCI.

The BCCI President was briefed in detail about the activities of the Incubator, which will host the innovative startup and spinoff companies. The incubator has over 3500 square meters of office space. But besides office space, the incubation program will include a variety of services in support of business innovation support in order to accelerate the development of the companies.

"The Science and Technology Park" is a project initiated and supported by the Bulgarian state, whose main goal is to help the development of science, technology and innovation in our country.

Sofia has been identified as the best location for Future Park because it is the place with the highest concentration of universities, researchers, startups, NGOs, local and international R & D companies.

The expectations of the Science and Technology Park are to become a platform through which participants in the Bulgarian innovation ecosystem can meet, exchange ideas and participate in joint projects.
