The Federation of Chambers of Commerce of Egypt has interest in organizing a business forum in Bulgaria

The head of the Bulgarian Commercial and Economic Office in Cairo  – Mr.Plamen Vasilev visited BCCI.

The head of the Bulgarian Commercial and Economic Office in Cairo – Mr.Plamen Vasilev visited BCCI and discussed with the President of the Chamber- Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov the development of  trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and Egypt.

Mr.Vasilev made the President aware of a meeting held at the Federation of Chambers of Commerce in Egypt and the expressed interest to a trade mission in Bulgaria with the aim of organizing a business forum.

BCCI is ready to host an upcoming trade event. Mr.Tsvetan Simeonov pointed out that the Chamber is interested in updating the Cooperation agreement with the Federation of Chambers of Commerce in Egypt. 

The current economic situation in Egypt was also discussed during the meeting. Mr.Vasilev said that the business environment is stable. Administrative rules for import of goods in Egypt and the opportunities the Federation to consider ways to facilitate business have also been discussed.
