The newly appointed Ambassador of Bulgaria in Tunisia - Slavena Gergova, visited BCCI and met with the President of the Chamber - Tsvetan Simeonov.
The mission in Tunisia will be responsible for Libya as well. Due to the lack of trade and economic service at the Embassy in Tunisia, Mr. Simeonov presented detailed information about the activities of BCCI and the services that the Chamber suggests to the benefit of business, regardless of the nationality of the investor - http://www.bcci.bg/bcci-services.html.
The President of the Chamber presented the BCCI membership in international organizations and provided the latest editions of BCCI - "Bulgaria in Numbers" and "The Top 100 Leading Companies in the Bulgarian Economy", which represent important economic information for our country.
Confirmed was BCCI's readiness to assist the Embassy in Tunisia in commercial inquiries about finding partners, and about the organization of business delegations, forums and presentations.
He presented also BCCI cooperation with partners of Tunisia, stressing that the Chamber exchanged the draft Cooperation Agreement with CCI of Tunisia which would replace the Agreement signed in 1996.
A successful cooperation with Tunisia and strengthening the economy of this country would have an effect of encouraging other Arab countries in the Mediterranean region. This would help to mitigate the influx of migrants and would create incentives for citizens of these countries to invest their efforts in improving the condition of their countries.
