Argentine business is interested in economic cooperation with Bulgaria

The newly-appointed Ambassador of Bulgaria in Argentina Andrey Tehov, who is also accredited for Chile, Bolivia, Paraguay, and Uruguay visited BCCI. He met with the Chamber’s President Tsvetan Simeonov and discussed possibilities for strengthening the economic relations and cooperation between Bulgaria and Argentina and other countries in the Region.

Among the main topics discussed were the opportunity to organize business delegations, the activity of the Bulgarian Commercial and Economic Sections in the region, the potential of the ideas for transport corridors, the activity of the Joint Intergovernmental Bulgarian – Argentine Commission on Economic and Technical Cooperation, whose next meeting will be held in Argentina. Ambassador Tehov pointed out that Argentina is working actively for the good dialogue between the European Union and Mercosur.

The idea to organize a presentation of Bulgarian investment opportunities for representatives of the Argentine businesses was also discussed. The newly-appointed Ambassador of Bulgaria in Argentina informed that the country is interested in economic cooperation with Bulgaria, pointing out the following sectors of interest: veterinary medicine, machinery for the food industry, cosmetics, IT.
