RUYIAD and BCCI discussed the Bulgarian – Turkish cooperation

10-member delegation from the Association of Rumelia Managers and Businessmen (RUYIAD), seated in Istanbul had a meeting with the President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov. The delegation included representatives of RUYIAD and businessmen from the sectors tourism, food industry and catering, engineering, medical facilities, health and labour insurance, legal services, advertising and media (Milliyet newspaper and Rumeli TV).

The aim of the meeting was to establish contact between RUYIAD and BCCI, to discuss opportunities for Bulgarian – Turkish cooperation, and to share information about possibilities for investment and doing business in Bulgaria.

Tsvetan Simeonov pointed out the advantages of Bulgaria – stable economic environment, access to EU funding, zero deficit this year, extremely low public debt to GDP, and the lowest corporate income tax in the EU at a rate of 10%.

The Turkish delegation declared interest mostly in medical tourism and medical facilities, and in the municipalities with zero corporate income tax rate. The RUYIAD delegation will have other meetings with Turkish investors who already have experience in Bulgaria and with their assistance the start of further expansion of the economic relations between Bulgaria and Turkey may be given.

The Association of Rumelia Managers and Businessmen (RUYIAD) was established in 1991 in Istanbul and aims to assist businesses so that the regions becomes a place of prosperity, science and culture, through social responsibility, economic and cultural activity.
