BCCI President attended a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea and representatives of business

HE Shin Boonam has announced his intention to cooperate for the establishment of a Bulgarian - Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry


At a meeting with Korean and Bulgarian businessmen, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea HE Shin Boonam has announced his intention to cooperate for the establishment of a Bulgarian - Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the purpose of further development of bilateral economic cooperation.

Representatives from KOTRA (Korean Corporation for Trade Promotion) have also attended the meeting and will be one of the institutions that will support the implementation of this initiative. The President of BCCI Mr.Tsvetan Simeonov participated in the discussions and in his  welcome speech to the participants thanked the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea for the initiative and confirmed the timeliness of this step in the context of the EU_Korea Free Trade Agreement. Mr. Simeonov emphasized the importance of relations with Korea as a reliable trade partner in view of the high-tech Korean economy. The President  reaffirmed the support of the Chamber for the implementation of the initiative and stressed the importance of the commitment and activity of the future organization for the implementation of  the envisaged important goals.
