The Vice-President of BCCI was part of the Bulgarian delegation to Izmir

He presented the Chamber’s activities to more than 50 delegates from 25 countries


The Vice-President of BCCI was part of the Bulgarian delegation to Izmir and presented the Chamber’s activities to more than 50 delegates from 25 countries. He pointed out the role of the system of the Bulgarian chambers of commerce and industry in support of trade and investment initiatives, stressing that the expansion of trade relations and investment are among the strongest counter-measures to economic migration and terrorism.

Georgi Stoev held meetings with the Director General of MIYANTRADE Aung Soe, who expressed interest in cooperation with Bulgarian companies, and with the representative of the Turkish Eximbank Banu Erkok. The Minister of Economy of Turkey Nihat Zeybekci gave an official reception for the forum participants.

During his meeting with the Minister for Commerce of Myanmar Dr. Than Myint, the Vice-President of BCCI Georgi Stoev was invited to organize a business delegation to visit Myanmar if there is expressed interest by BCCI’s members.

Together with the Ministers of Myanmar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Senegal and Cameroon, the Vice-President of BCCI visited the  Ataturk Industrial Part, and afterwards had talks with the Vice-President of Izmir Chamber of Commerce Cüneyt Güleç and visited the Aegean Chamber of Commerce where he met with the members of the Board of Directors Atesh DEMIRKALKAN and Hakan URUN.

During the meetings, both chambers confirmed the mutual interest in cooperation and expressed desire to exchange trade delegations.
