The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov met with Bogomil Bogdanov, the newly-appointed Head of the Bulgarian Commercial and Economic Affairs Section in Pristina, Montenegro. Bogdanov will restore the activity of the Commercial Section at the Bulgarian Embassy in Montenegro, and at the same time will be accredited for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Tsvetan Simeonov pointed out that it is good to step up the activity in these countries because economic cooperation is at an unacceptably low level. He highlighted the possibilities of the Chamber's Unified Trade Register, which provides information in Bulgarian and English about more than 53 000 companies and business organizations in Bulgaria. In addition, he presented the business consultations provided by BCCI, information about the annual financial reports of more than 6,500 companies collected for over 15 years, the Arbitration Court at BCCI, up-to-date information on Bulgaria's economic development, and details about organized exhibitions and fairs throughout the country.
Bogomil Bogdanov presented the main priorities of his mission, including increasing Bulgaria’s trade with Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina, strengthening the cooperation in the field of energy, tourism, food and beverage services, etc.
