BCCI presented the Ambassador of Austria with an Honorary Diploma

The President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tsvetan Simeonov presented H.E. Mr. Roland Hauser, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Austria in Bulgaria, with an Honorary Diploma on the occasion of the end of his term of office in the country. The Diploma was presented during a meeting of the active partners of the Embassy of Austria in Sofia.

Lilyana Pavlova, Minister for the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU 2018, also took part in the meeting.

BCCI’s award is bestowed for Ambassador Hauser’s active collaboration with the Chamber and for his contribution to the development of the economic cooperation between Bulgaria and Austria.

Tsvetan Simeonov expressed his satisfaction with the mutual work of the Chamber with the Embassy of Austria. On his part, the Ambassador thanked BCCI for the successful cooperation during his term of office.

During his 4-year term in our country, Ambassador Hauser assisted the organization of a number of events, including a bilateral economic forum on the occasion of the official visit of the Federal President of the Republic of Austria Heinz Fischer to Bulgaria in 2014, and a forum of Austrian companies on theme “Transport Infrastructure” as part of this May’s visit of the Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen to the country and his participation in the tripartite meeting in Ruse, during which the common interest of Bulgaria, Austria and Romania to revive the Danube Strategy was confirmed.
