Meeting with the Director General of the European Property Federation

At the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a meeting was held between the President of the Chamber Tsvetan Simeonov and the Director General of the European Property Federation Michael McBrien. Representatives of the Chamber of Independent Appraisers in Bulgaria also took part in the meeting.

Michael McBrien presented the objectives of the European Property Federation, which was established in 1997 and lobbies to solve the problems of representatives of the property sector at EU level.

Tsvetan Simeonov presented the work of BCCI in the field of: commercial arbitration, foreign trade documents, branch organizations. He expressed the view that the property sector will face a number of issues and even problems in view of the country’s accession into the Eurozone.

The President of BCCI made a commitment to assist the Bulgarian property sector to be represented in Europe through the European Property Federation.
