The successful partnership between the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Embassy of Poland in Sofia was pointed out as a key element of the mandate of H.E. Krzysztof Krajewski, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Bulgaria. On the occasion of the end of his term of office in the country, the President of BCCI congratulated the Ambassador and presented him with an Honorary Diploma for the joint efforts and actions in support of the bilateral economic ties.
The examples of successful collaboration between the Embassy and the Chamber are numerous, including a Bulgarian – Polish Business Forum held in Sofia in May 2017, bilateral business meetings with Polish companies in March 2015, a number of meetings and initiatives.
The trade between Bulgaria and Poland is characterized by stable levels and constant commodity groups and positions and sustainable growth over the last few years. The volume of bilateral trade amounted to EUR 1.72 billion. In the first three months of the year, exports from Bulgaria to Poland amounted to EUR 172.14 million, an increase of 11.2% compared to the same period in 2017, with Poland ranked 9th among Bulgaria’s export destinations.
