The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov had a meeting with Cleomar Di Castro, Director of the Bulgarian Brazilian Culture Institute, and Daniela Todorova, co-founder of the Amateras Foundation. The main theme of the meeting was the idea for creating Casa Brazil (a house in Bulgaria for promotion of Brazilian products, tourism, culture, cooperation).
Tsvetan Simeonov got familiar with other initiatives and ideas of his guests, which aim to consolidate and expand the friendly, cultural and business relations between Bulgaria and Brazil. He said that after the visit of a Bulgarian business delegation accompanying the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rosen Plevneliev to Latin America in 2016, the interest for economic cooperation with this part of the world has increased.
Specific initiatives were discussed that, by combining cultural and business aspects of the bilateral cooperation, will result in higher commodity exchange between the two countries.
The parties agreed that Brazilian companies will visit Bulgaria in the spring of 2019 to get acquainted with Bulgarian products and services (wine, tourism, bio products, etc.)
A proposal was made interested Brazilian artists and sculptors to organize an exhibition of their works in the Chamber’s lobby.
