Establishment of a joint Bulgarian – Moroccan business organization

The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov held a working meeting with Asparuh Karastoyanov, member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber. The main topic of discussion was the idea to establish a joint Bulgarian – Moroccan business organization at the level of the chambers of commerce and industry, which was discussed during the official visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria Boyko Borisov to the Kingdom of Morocco in the period 29-30 November 2018. During the visit, a Bulgarian – Moroccan Business Forum in Casablanca and a number of meetings with local partners were held.

Asparuh Karastoyanov informed that Morocco has a direct interest in importing foods, textiles, furniture, machinery and equipment manufactured in Bulgaria. The country is re-exporting to many African countries.

Tsvetan Simeonov supported the idea, which will be implemented in cooperation with the Association of Moroccan Exporters.
