Meeting with the newly-appointed Ambassador of Bulgaria in Lebanon

The newly-appointed Ambassador of Bulgaria in Lebanon, Boyan Belev, visited BCCI and met with the Chamber’s President Tsvetan Simeonov. The main topic of discussion was the current state of the bilateral trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and Lebanon.

During the meeting, Tsvetan Simeonov presented the activities of BCCI, its regional structure and the services it provides in support of businesses. He emphasized the digitalized Arbitration Court at BCCI and the Unified Trade Register of the Chamber.

The President introduced Ambassador Belev to the Chamber’s cooperation with partner organizations related to Lebanon, such as the Chamber of Commerce Industry and Agriculture of Beirut and Mount Lebanon, the Bulgarian – Lebanese Business Council at BCCI, and the Lebanese – Bulgarian Business Council in Lebanon.

Ambassador Belev presented his priorities for his upcoming term of office, among which intensification of the commercial and economic cooperation between the two countries.

Tsvetan Simeonov said that the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will fully cooperate with Ambassador Belev in the execution of his tasks and objectives in support of businesses from Bulgaria and Lebanon.
