Deepening of the Bulgarian – Chinese Economic Relations

The newly-appointed Commercial Counsellor at the Chinese Embassy in Sofia Wang Xuekun visited BCCI and met with the President of the Chamber Tsvetan Simeonov. The occasion for the meeting was to discuss the upcoming initiatives for promotion of the bilateral economic cooperation in 2019.

Wang Xuekun informed about the expected visit of a Chinese delegation from the Jiangxi Province, central China, in March. The main purpose of the visit is to present fairs and exhibitions in China, in which Bulgarian companies to take part.

The Commercial Counsellor also presented the opportunities for participation in the second international exhibition of imported goods - China International Import Expo, which will take place on 5 – 10 November 2019 in Shanghai. Representatives of 37 Bulgarian companies successfully took part in the first edition of the exhibition. BCCI will assist companies for even more active presence of the Bulgarian business at the exhibition in 2019.
