Meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of Bulgaria to Moldova

A meeting with the newly appointed Bulgarian Ambassador to Moldova Evgeni Stoychev was held at BCCI. The President of the Chamber Tsvetan Simeonov introduced his guest to BCCI’s relations with partners in Moldova, including the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova, the Court of Arbitration, Moldexpo, etc. The interaction with these organizations is carried out at European level /EUROCHAMBRES/, Black Sea level /within the BSEC Business Council/, and national level.

Tsvetan Simeonov presented up-to-date information on the cooperation with the Head of Bulgaria’s Commercial and Economic Section in Chisinau - Bronislav Denev, who initiated and was the main organizer of the exhibition “Food and Drinks from Sunny Bulgaria” held in Moldova earlier this month.

During the meeting, the great potential in the trade and economic relations between Bulgaria and Moldova was established in the context of the EU – Moldova Association Agreement. Bilateral trade in 2017 amounted to USD 155.3 million.
