Representatives of the Bulgarian Business Participated in the World Economic Forum in Dalian, China

The session was dedicated to the dialogue between the Chinese state enterprises and the Bulgarian authorities




Representatives of the Bulgarian business took part in a session during the Word Economic Forum in Dalia, dedicated on the dialogue between the Chinese state enterprises and the Bulgarian authorities.

The President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev, was a guest at the meeting. In his speech the Bulgarian head of state focused on the active political dialogue between the institutions of Bulgaria and China, and on the high level of trust between the two countries. He outlined that due to its  strategic disposition, qualified work force and the favourable for the investors tax policy Bulgaria is the natural choice for the realization of successful projects. The President referred to the good examples in the Bulgarian-Chinese relations and emphasized the mutual interest in their further development. He informed the audience that the biggest tour-operator in China applies software, developed by  Bulgarian company. Mr. Radev also outlined some sectors like the automobile industry, rural economy, according to Forbes Sofia is among the first ten for favourable place for establishment and development of start-ups.

The President of the BCCI, Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov, also addressed the participants in the forum and underlined that the mission of the Bulgarian companies at the forum is to convince the Chinese firms that Bulgaria is the proper trade and investment partner. Bulgaria is among the 10 countries in the world with the lowest taxes, low inflation rate (2.7%), steady and growing GDP, low financial risk currency fixed to the EUR and extremely low budget deficit= He shared that the BCCI may provide to the Chinese companies consultancy, recommendations about Bulgarian partners, digital services and dispute solutions via arbitrage.
