WORKSHOP WASTE TO ENERGY RTD & INNOVATIONS, GOOD PRACTICES, PROSPECTS & ALTERNATIVES

 
On 20th - 21st September 2011 the Bulgarian consortium of project WasteKit is organizing a workshop, devoted to Municipal Waste Management (MWM) with an emphasis on MWM in Sofia region. There will be three discussion panels, stressing on Scientific, Business and Social aspects of MWM. 

Prominent foreign scientists from the UK, Netherlands and Italy, businessmen and local authorities’ experts will be engaged for the keynote presentations in each panel. Leading local actors will be also invited to present their research work, company activities and projects, related to MWM. 

The workshop is addressed to a wide audience: researchers, professors, students, state or local authorities representatives, NGOs, waste-management related companies.

Organizers: Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bulgarian Academy of Science, Sofia Municipality,  Balkan Science and Education Centre of Ecology and Environment, Denkstatt Bulgaria.
