Memorandum of Understanding between BCCI and London Southside Chamber of Commerce

A second meeting with the management of London Southside Chamber of Commerce was held in Sofia. The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov discussed with his partners Gerry MacDonagh, Executive Director and Guy Audibert, Director of London Southside Chamber of Commerce, the opportunities for bilateral cooperation. In 2008, a delegation from South London visited BCCI and held b2b meetings with Bulgarian partners.

Simeonov introduced his guests to the goals and mission of BCCI, which operates on the model of the British chambers of commerce and industry. He shared BCCI’s experience in maintaining a digital register of its members (more than 52 000 companies), as well as in the field of commercial arbitration, which has been practiced for more than 120 years. The guests expressed avid interest in the up-to-date information included in the Chamber’s brochure “Bulgaria in Figures” and the “TOP 100” classification of the leading companies in the Bulgarian economy.

Tsvetan Simeonov and Gerry MacDonagh signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and London Southside Chamber of Commerce to promote investment and business opportunities between members of the two organizations.

The two chambers agreed to exchange business delegations and support the development of joint business initiatives.
