H.E. Zhusupbek Sharipovich Sharipov, the newly accredited Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Bulgaria with a residence in Kyiv, Ukraine, Aleksandar Dimitrov, Honorary Consul of Kyrgyzstan in Bulgaria, and Vladimir Bubnyak, Advisor at the Ministry of Agriculture, Foods and Forestry of Bulgaria, visited BCCI and discussed with the President Tsvetan Simeonov the opportunities for development of the bilateral commercial and economic relations.
Tsvetan Simeonov introduced his guests to the Chamber’s 125-year history and the services it provides to businesses. The President of BCCI focused on the work of the Arbitration Court at BCCI, the Unified Trade Register, and the Chamber’s membership in international organizations. The guests also expressed interest in the regional structure of BCCI.
During the meeting it was established that there is untapped potential in the bilateral relations, and to this end the possibility to organize joint events to present the business climate in both countries was considered. The following perspective areas of cooperation were outlined: machine-building, food industry, hoisting and hauling equipment, construction, agriculture, etc.
The President of BCCI said that there is another opportunity for cooperation between the two countries – labour import.
Tsvetan Simeonov expressed the readiness of the Chamber to assist Ambassador Sharipov in fulfilling his goals and objectives during his term of office.
