Meeting with the European Investment Bank in BCCI

The BCCI President Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov had a meeting with the Head of the EIB Representation in Bulgaria Mr.Teodor Radonov. The meeting was attended by the Vice President of the Chamber Mr.Todor Tabakov, who introduced the guest to some of the BCCI services. The activities of the Arbitration Court and the Investment Council, which operates at the Chamber, have been presented in more detail.

The events set out in the Chamber’s Program until the end of the year were also presented. The guest was acquainted in detail with the International Conference "Financial Support for SMEs - SIMExpo 2021" scheduled for September and he was given an official invitation.

During the event, financing institutions, investment and guarantee funds and investors will present their products, programs and projects aimed at entrepreneurs and especially for the benefit of small and medium enterprises. During the event, direct contact with representatives of companies will be provided within the contact exchange meetings by bilateral meetings according to the specific financial capacity and current needs of enterprises.

The BCCI President drew the guest's attention to the new edition of the BCCI - "Bulgaria in Figures", which put together key macroeconomic indicators of the country and the assessments of a number of leading international organizations, thus being a good guide to any investor.

Teodor Radonov briefly presented the activities of the European Investment Bank and the services offered by the Bank for business and expressed willingness for future joint initiatives.

Possibilities for expanding the cooperation between the BCCI and the EIB in order to better acquaint the business community in our country with the opportunities and projects offered by the EIB and to improve the business environment in Bulgaria were discussed and agreed upon.
