Meeting with the Honorary Consul of Bulgaria in Angola





The President of BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov met with Arnold Ferreira, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Bulgaria in Angola. Simeonov acquainted the guest with the state of relations between the national chambers of commerce and industry of the two countries and the Cooperation Agreement signed by them in 2005.

Ferreira provided detailed information on the state of the economy and priority business areas of the African country.

Tsvetan Simeonov stressed that the BCCI and Bulgarian business are willing to work with partners in Africa. At the moment, the relations are mainly in the form of commercial transactions. There is potential for cooperation in the field of machine building for the food industry, small hydropower plants, oil industry, energy.

The Honorary Consul pointed out that cooperation in the field of education is being prepared, which will subsequently support business contacts between Bulgaria and Angola.
