BCCI awarded the President of EUROCHAMBRES Christoph Leitl

On the occasion of the end of his second term of office as President of the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (EUROCHAMBRES), the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry presented a BCCI plaque and a diploma to Dr. Christoph Leitl for his excellent cooperation with the Chamber and contribution to the EUROCHAMBRES’ activities.

Christoph Leitl is a long-term partner of BCCI in his role as President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber in the period 2000 - 2008. Many joint initiatives, forums and events were held with his participation in Vienna and Sofia.

He held the post of President of EUROCHAMBRES in the years 2001-2005 and 2018-2021, as well as Honorary President of EUROCHAMBRES in the period 2006-2017.

Christoph Leitl supported and personally took part in the first regional edition of the European Parliament of Enterprises. The event took place in June 2018 in Sofia and brought together over 200 representatives of European chambers, business and media.

As well as being an Austrian entrepreneur and politician, Christoph Leitl is an active supporter of European values ​​with a focus on business.
