The news of the sudden death of the former Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe has left us in a real shock and deep sadness. We categorically condemn such brutal attacks on democracy and human life.

It is recalled in a press release of BCCI that the Chamber maintains excellent relations with partners from Japan. It has had an agreement with the Japanese Trade Association since 1955 and with the Japanese Chamber of Commerce since 1994. Since 1987, it has maintained partnership relations with the employer organization KEIDANREN - a business federation in Japan.
Through the Bulgarian-Japanese Economic Council, which functions at the Chamber, and with the support of the Japanese institutions, a huge number of representatives of the Bulgarian employers have gone through training in Japanese enterprises, absorbing the Japanese experience in the management.
In January 24, 2011, during the visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria, Boyko Borisov, to Japan, the President of BCCI, Tsvetan Simeonov, signed an agreement with the Japan Commercial Arbitration Association (JCAA).
