B2B meetings with Italian companies held at BCCI

The event was organized with the cooperation of the Head of Bulgaria’s Commercial and Economic Section in Milan

As part of the successful partnership between the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Bulgaria’s Commercial and Economic Section in Milan, headed by Mrs. Andriyana Koleva, B2B meetings between Bulgarian and Italian companies were held at the Chamber's headquarters in Sofia.

The delegation from Italy, organized by the Association of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises of Sicily, included companies from various sectors: IT, energy, light industry, food industry, pharmaceutical industry.

At the beginning of the meeting, the President of BCCI said that the Chamber maintains excellent cooperation and partnership with many similar organizations in Italy. This is a prerequisite for the active cooperation between companies. Simeonov gave an overview of the economic situation in the country, emphasizing the low tax rates that are expected to remain unchanged, higher inflation (up to 12%), export growth and excellent performance of a number of economic sectors, despite the global crisis.

Andriyana Koleva thanked BCCI for the good partnership and pointed out that the current visit is a continuation of the visit of the Bulgarian Ambassador Todor Stoyanov to Sicily in May this year. The focus of the Ambassador’s visit was on the oil and gas industry, tourism, energy, military industry, etc.

The partners from Italy presented their activities and met with Bulgarian companies with similar interests.

If you wish to establish subsequent contact with the Italian companies, you can contact BCCI, "International Cooperation and International Organizations" Directorate at: interdpt@bcci.bg.
