Meeting of the BCCI President with the Ambassador of Slovenia



H.E. Natasha Bergelj, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Slovenia in Sofia, visited BCCI and spoke with President Tsvetan Simeonov.

Ambassador Bergelj outlined her priorities during her current term of office, the main one being to increase trade between the two countries, which registered a slight decline in 2021.

Tsvetan Simeonov informed the guest about the BCCI’s membership in international organizations and in regional cooperation formats, the types of membership in chambers of commerce - voluntary and mandatory, and the services which BCCI provides in support of business. He also presented the strengths of Bulgaria as an investment destination and the opportunities for investing in the country.

Future initiatives to develop bilateral trade and economic relations and to identify new areas of cooperation were discussed.
