Meeting with the newly appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan in Sofia

The newly appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan in Sofia H.E. Viktor Temirbaev visited the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and spoke with the President – Mr. Tsvetan Simeonov. Mr. Meiirzhan Zhumadylla, attaché to the embassy, ​​also took part in the meeting.

During the conversation, Ambassador Temirbaev presented his priorities for strengthening the bilateral trade and economic cooperation.

Mr. Simeonov acquainted the guest with the history and activities of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with a view to the support of the business, the different types of membership, the system of regional chambers, membership in international organizations, and the Association of the Balkan Chambers – ABC.

Ambassador Temirbaev, for his part, provided up-to-date economic information about Kazakhstan, as well as the investment opportunities in the country. Matters of mutual interest were discussed, such as the lack of direct air connectivity between the capitals of the two countries. It was agreed that at the end of April this year, the embassy team together with the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry will organize a forum on the topic "Presentation of new opportunities for business with Kazakhstan".
