Representatives of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium visited BCCI

Jérémy Thirion, First Secretary for Political and Economic Affairs at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium in Sofia, visited the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and spoke with its President Tsvetan Simeonov. Velichka Terzieva, Trade and Investment Secretary at Flanders’ Commercial Representation at the Embassy, also participated in the meeting.

During the meeting, the trade and economic cooperation between the two countries was discussed. In this regard, Velichka Terzieva informed about an upcoming visit to Sofia of a business delegation from Flanders at the end of May this year. It will include representatives from different economic sectors, including food industry, pharmacy, environment, etc. BCCI will additionally inform its members about the exact dates of the event.

Tsvetan Simeonov acquainted his guests with the history of BCCI, the work of the Arbitration Court, the activities of GS1 Bulgaria, and the Chamber’s partnership with international and regional organizations.
