Cooperation between Bulgaria and Turkey for the exchange of experience and implementation of innovations in the railway industry





The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, together with the trade representation of the Republic of Turkey in Bulgaria, represented by Mrs. Sinem Tashtan, and the "Green Transport" Cluster organized a business forum - "Presentation of Bulgarian and Turkish enterprises in the field of railway infrastructure, wagon building and transport ".
 
The event was held in order to promote cooperation between the enterprises from Bulgaria and Turkey in the field of railway transport. It should support the development of infrastructure in this area in our country, providing an opportunity to exchange experience, implement new technologies and establish business contacts that will contribute to the strengthening of trade relations and economic development of both countries.
 
Various companies participated in the forum, including the Turkish "Kardemir". The company was founded in 1937. It is the first integrated industrial enterprise in Turkey and the only producer of railway rails and koloos in the region. On the Bulgarian side, the companies "Bulmarket", "Kolovag AD" and "Traktsia AD" participated, which presented their capabilities in the field of railway infrastructure, wagon building and transportation, reflecting the interest and potential of Bulgaria in the railway industry sector.
 
Kardemir's commercial director Onur Erkara emphasized the importance of the relationship between Bulgaria and Turkey, not only economically, but also culturally.
 
Mr. Erkara stated the company's ambitions and desire to build long-term and positive relations with the Bulgarian industry, given its established profile as the largest producer (in Turkey and at the regional level) of railway lines and locomotives. Onur expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with the Bulgarian industry, as well as his hopes that the export of their products to Bulgaria will increase.
