Bulgarian companies called upon to join efforts of international businesses in support of the Ukraine recovery

The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) received information about a joint initiative supported by the Ambassadors of Great Britain and Ukraine in Sofia, which aims to fundamentally engage businesses at international level with the process of rebuilding Ukraine. The occasion is an international conference dedicated to the recovery of Ukraine (Ukraine Recovery Conference 2023).

British Ambassador Rob Dixon and Ukrainian Ambassador Olesya Ilashchuk call on Bulgarian companies to sign the Ukraine Business Compact - a declarative and non-binding statement of international businesses' support for Ukraine's recovery.

The Ukraine Business Compact gives international businesses a platform to show their support for Ukraine's recovery. This includes looking for opportunities, when the time is right, engaging in trade and investment, peer-to-peer expertise sharing, pro bono work and business activities.

The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed the Ukraine Business Compact on June 16 and joined the efforts of the international business community in support of Ukraine. The BCCI advised its members on joining the initiative.
