The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a number of meetings with South Korean companies. The event was organized in close cooperation with the Korea SMEs & Startups Agency (KOSME).
Tsvetan Simeonov, President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, opened the event and reiterated on the importance of the cooperation with Korean partners, referring to the EU-Republic of Korea free trade agreement and the incentives it provided to the business. Mr Simeonov presented the activities of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the services the Chamber offered for the benefit of the companies and recommended inclusion of arbitration clauses in the contracts singed between Bulgarian and Korean companies.
Noyoung Park, representative of the Korea SMEs & Startups Agency (KOSME) in Frankfurt introduced the audience to the activities of the agency, which main goal is the implementation of government policies and programs for the sustainable growth and development of Korean small and medium-sized enterprises.
A number of Bulgarian companies embraced the opportunity and held meetings with the present South Korean companies, the event itself ending with the signing of a Contract between the companies Panax Tech OOD and WithSunBio in the field of medical technology.
