The Bulgarian and Greek businesses are putting together joint initiatives

Savvas Karafilydis, chairman of the Bulgarian- Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry /BHCCI/ and the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tsvetan Simeonov talked through the upcoming 87th edition of the Thessaloniki International Trade Fair and the accompanying programme.

The Ministry of Economy and Industry of the Republic of Bulgaria is in charge of the overall national participation in the exhibition, this year in the role of a guest of honor at this significant business, financial, social and cultural event.

Another matter discussed during the working meeting was the anticipated coming together of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry from Bulgaria and Greece – a project the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is coordinating as part of the accompanying program of the Fair. It will be held on September 10 2023 from 2:00 p.m. at Pavilion 13. The event, during which BCCI is expected to sign a Cooperation agreement with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Athens, E.B.E.A., will be opened by the Minister of Economy and Industry Bogdan Bogdanov.

Savvas Karafilydis and Simeonov are joining efforts in the arrangement of yet another appearance as part of the accompanying program of the fair – to introduce and promote the activities of the BHCCI and its members.

Karafilydis communicated that the activity of the mixed chamber is expanding, with an office of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Thessaloniki coming down the pike. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry will readily come up with additional information about the actual address to smooth and speed up communication and cooperation between the Bulgarian and Greek businesses.
