Prospective business initiatives Bulgaria – Indonesia

Murdi Primbani - Minister Counsellor of the Embassy of Indonesia in Sofia,  Irvan Fachrizal - counsellor Economic Affairs and  Endy Zulham from the Economic department visited the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for a meeting with the President Tsvetan Simeonov.

The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss upcoming business initiatives in both countries. The guests shared that the 38th edition of Trade Expo Indonesia /TEI/ was to be held in Jakarta from October 18-22, 2023, presenting the following main categories: food and beverages, fashion, textiles and accessories, digital services, beauty and care, medical equipment and healthcare, home and house, energy and industrial products.

Further, Fakhrizal informed of the Indonesia-Europe Business Forum /IEBF/, to be held in October 17-18, 2023. The event will be focused on joint cooperation for facilitating and stimulating sustainable and inclusive economic development. Priority sectors of the forum will be: mechanical engineering and electronics, health infrastructure, creative industry, energy transformation and digital economy. More about the forum here

Tsvetan Simeonov was informed about the upcoming visit of an Indonesian business delegation to Bulgaria at the end of the year. He offered full assistance on the part of the BCCI for organizing business meetings with Bulgarian companies. Priority sectors in the focus of the visit will be: food industry, agriculture, light industry, information technologies, etc. The Chamber of Commerce and Industry will provide additional information about the period of the visit and the conditions for Bulgarian companies’ participation in the meetings.
