Intensive business meetings Bulgaria – Korea with tangible results

More than 80 business meetings took place last week at the BCCI during the Bulgarian-Korean event, organized by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and NIPA – the National IT Industry Promotion Agency of Korea

The delegation from South Korea consisted of 15 companies and startups in various fields of activity.

More than Bulgarian 35 companies attended the meeting, most of them members of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. "In hard times, it is of utmost importance for companies to connect with strong economic partners for overcoming the challenges," Tsvetan Simeonov, President of the BCCI, said at the opening of the event. He pointed out that Bulgaria can offer and provide good conditions for developing different businesses, the low taxes among them and the positive tendencies in keeping their encouraging levels. Simeonov acquainted the Korean companies with the broad-spectrum range of services offered by the BCCI and indicated that the Chamber can offer assistance in identifying potential partners, verifying their good standing, signing of contracts and their implementation.

The meetings between the Bulgarian and Korean partners, which were held within the framework of one business day, according to the preliminary schedule, concluded with 7 Memorandums of understanding signed between companies from Bulgaria and South Korea.

All participants responded to the event as being extremely productive and successful.

There is an increased interest on the part of partners from East Asia in doing business with Bulgaria, with the BCCI organizing bilateral meetings with Korean companies for the second time this year. In November, there will be more meetings with companies from Indonesia.
