The Commercial Counsellor at the Embassy on Turkey in Sofia visited the BCCI

Sinem Taştan, Commercial counselor at the Embassy of Turkey in Sofia, visited the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the last day of her mandate in Bulgaria.

During the visit, Tsvetan Simeonov, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, emphasized that “For these four years, together, we made headway”. "Trade relations between Bulgaria and Turkey are developing steadily and investment opportunities are growing," he added. Despite the difficulties during this period, the chambers of commerce and industry of both countries continued to cooperate wholly and enjoy the unfading support of the diplomatic missions in Bulgaria and Turkey.

For her outstanding contribution to the development of Bulgarian-Turkish commercial and economic relations, Sinem Taştan received in 2022 the Foreign Trade Adviser award of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. These joint events and activities included business forums, regional meetings, presentations and seminars with producers, traders and investors both in Bulgaria and in Turkey.

The President of the BCCI wished Mrs. Sinem Taştan every success in her future endeavors, which, as she said, would be in the private sector.
