Meeting with the President of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia

The President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tsvetan Simeonov hosted a meeting with his colleague Branko Azeski - long-term President of the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia. He visited Bulgaria on the occasion of the conference organized by the Court of Arbitration at the BCCI under: " Specific principles of commercial arbitration and their manifestation in arbitration proceedings" .

Simeonov and Azeski talked about the economic development of the region, the bilateral relations between Bulgaria and North Macedonia, as well as the progress of EU negotiations. The two sides identified issues and feasible two-party solutions in the field of trade and investment and emphasized the role of mixed economic chambers for speeding up cooperation, especially at regional level.

Simeonov awarded his colleague from North Macedonia with a silver medal, bearing the face of Ivan Grozev, the first President of Sofia Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The bassrelief was made for the 125 anniversary of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The meeting was also attended by Elena Milevska Shtrbevska, chairwoman of the permanent Arbitration Court at the Economic Chamber of North Macedonia. She was also a visiting lecturer at the conference at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and delivered a lecture on the topic of: "Arbitration as a challenge in the new reality".
