BCCI Honorary Diploma for H.E. Mr Dong Xiaojun, Ambassador of China

The President of the BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov awarded His Excellency Dong Xiaojun with an Honorary Diploma and a Silver 125 years BCCI round at the farewell cocktail party, marking the end of his mandate in our country. The honor was presented for his active cooperation with the Chamber and his contribution to the development of Bulgarian-Chinese relations.

The Chinese diplomat, who has the longest mandate in our country - 4 years and 9 months, has taken part in the setting up of a number of important meetings, forums and events.  

Ambassador Xiaojun has maintained the tradition of several Chinese business and government delegations being welcomed at the BCCI annually and the organisation of b2b, b2g meetings. For the second time this year, the BCCI and the Embassy in Sofia organised seminars in China under the program of the Ministry of Commerce of China for 26 representatives of regional chambers of commerce, industry organizations and companies from the BCCI system. The seminars were focused on the potential of the Chinese economic market. The first study program of this kind was held in 2019. The purpose of these trainings is to provoke ideas for promoting the bilateral economic cooperation, reveal opportunities for closer interaction at company level, as well as create opportunities for exchange of practices and experience with related organizations. The next 2024 edition of the training is in progress with the kind and active assistance of the Embassy of China in Sofia.
