Partnership with the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina





The President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Tsvetan Simeonov hosted a meeting with a delegation from the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina - Vjekoslav Vukovic - President, Nihad Bajramovich – Vice President, Šejla Delić - Head of the President and VP Office at Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Simeonov introduced the guests to BCCI's main activities which include maintenance of the non-obligatory Trade Register, the Arbitration Court and the Consultations Bureau and communicate with over 500 external experts. Simeonov offered cooperation to the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina for development of similar services and activities on the base of experience and expertise.

Vukovic presented the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina which has approximately 32,000 members, covers 24 sector organizations and has two regional offices in Mostar and Banja Luka. There is also an Arbitration court with good practice functioning at the Chamber.

The two presidents discussed the next steps in strengthening the bilateral business and economic cooperation and the renewal of the Agreement signed between the two organizations in 2003.

The parties identified sectors of mutual interest for companies from both countries such as ICT, tourism, wine production, food industry, trade, etc.

The meeting was held with the active assistance of the Embassy of Bulgaria in Sarajevo. The program of the delegation from the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina included also media representation, meetings with Bulgarian companies, talks at the Ministry of Economy and Industry and the Ministry of Tourism.
