Discussion related to entrepreneurship brought together representatives of different generations at the American University in Blagoevgrad





The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry took part in the discussion under the title "Entrepreneurship as a life strategy and how Europe helps in this", initiated by the People's Representative Denitsa Simeonova and supported by Europe Direct Dupnitsa. The event was attended by the deputy mayor of Blagoevgrad Stanislav Kimchev, the vice-rector of the American University in Blagoevgrad, Eleonora Negulova, the president of the National Association of Small and Medium Businesses, students, pupils and representatives of the local community, the European Institute, Europe Direct Blagoevgrad and Chamber of Commerce and Industry Blagoevgrad.

Gabriela Dimitrova, Director „International Cooperation and International Organizations“ at BCCI presented the opportunities for young people to participate in the Erasmus program for young entrepreneurs. She emphasized the conditions for inclusion in the program, the requirements for young and experienced entrepreneurs, as well as the expected benefitsq and also presented some good examples from previous participants, pointing out the results of the recent meeting of the partners of the program held in Lithuania and presenting the winner of the competition for the most innovative young entrepreneur among the participants involved in the program in 2023 - Ramune Gvozdaite.

Dimitrova answered questions from the audience and explained the steps for applying to Erasmus for young entrepreneurs. These include preparation of a resume, business plan /for young entrepreneurs/, registration at www.erasmus-entrepreneurs.eu, selection of BCCI as an intermediary organization, selection of a partner and implementation of an exchange.
