The EU project Informing on the rules of Posting kicked-off. It will focus on the challenges related to the application of the Directives on the posting of workers in the framework of the transnational provision of services. The project will last for two years and will emphasize on information to improve implementation and the correct application of European regulations on the posting of workers.
The project will be led by the Antonio Bustamante Foundation, FAB, Spain (an organization linked to the CSIT UNIÓN PROFESIONAL union of Spain) and together with these two, it has the participation of business and union organizations from Poland Zwiazek Zawodowy Pracownikow Rolnictwa W Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej , ZZPR, and Polskie Stowarzyszenie Pracownikow Migracyjnych , PSPM); the Federation of Associations of young businessmen and women of Castilla La Mancha, AJELM, of Spain; the Europaischer verein fur Wanderarbeiterfragen EV, EMWU, Germany; the Stichting Used Amsterdam -Social Enterprise Agency, SU-ASEA, of the Netherlands; the Svaz Podnikatelu Ve Stavebnictvi , SPS/ABE, Czech Republic; and the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, BCCI, from Bulgaria. A total of nine organizations, belonging to six member countries of the European Union.
The main objective of the project is to: Increase the accessibility, transparency and quality of information on terms and conditions of employment, including internships in Member States; and is specifically aimed at workers and employers who displace workers from the agriculture, healthcare and construction sectors ; social partners; liaison offices and public authorities.
This objective must facilitate the transnational exchange of information and good practices during its implementation; and its impact will extend to non-EU countries, especially the candidate countries.
During the implementation of the project, the aim is to improve the understanding of posting rules and to deliberate and implement solutions to the real existing problems faced by workers who are posted in the agriculture, care and construction sectors; as well as displaced third country nationals.
In addition, it is expected to raise awareness among all actors involved in the posting of workers about the posting rules within the framework of EU legislation.
In this sense, the project team hopes to:
Podcasts will be prepared, and various national workshops and seminars will be held that will serve to disseminate the activities and defense mechanisms of displaced workers; and establish a network of experts to provide advice to companies that post workers and posted workers.
